SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED
Security deposit RM150 is a refundable deposit.
This deposit will be refunded back to you after 3 to 5 working days after you safely return the car to us (Malaysia Licence Holder). This deposit is to secure our company from any summon such as speed summon , AES, parking offence and so on. With this deposit we believe it is a suitable amount for customer to rent our local cars like Perodua or Proton. For luxury or imported cars the amount is different and base on the models. The refunding process will be done via online transfer to your account.
TRAFFIC RELATED OFFENCES
The Authorized Driver is responsible for summons or fines issued by the Malaysian Traffic Police, Road Transport Authority, or Local Municipal Authorities, whether it’s caused by the Authorized Driver or any related 3rd party incurred during the usage period of the Authorized Driver including the parking charged and others related.
DRIVER’S REQUIREMENT
The Authorized Driver must be between 21 years and 60 years of age and possess the current local or valid overseas International licenses with qualified driving experience of at least one (1) year. Malaysia ‘P’ License holders need to provide their own ‘P’ License Sticker to be pasted on the subject vehicle during the usage period.
EXTENSION OF USAGE PERIOD
The Authorized Driver of the subject vehicle may request for extension of usage period. The duration is not later than (7) days for monthly usage, three (3) days for weekly usage, one (1) day for daily usage and thirty (30) minutes for hourly usage; before the expiry of the usage period stipulated above. The extension of the usage period is subject to the agreement of the owner of the subject vehicle. In the event of the Authorized Driver fails to request for extension of usage period, the owner may lodge a police report on the missing vehicle after the time and date of the expiry stated on the agreement made
ACCIDENT AND DAMAGE REPAIR
In the event of an accident, the Authorized Driver shall inform the Agents, owner or representative of the vehicle as soon as possible, especially when the police report has been made. The Authorized Driver is responsible for any damages occurred towards the vehicles due to any natural disaster, negligence and carelessness of the Authorized Driver or any related 3rd party. The entire cost in order to repair the damage(s) on the subject vehicle shall be borne by the Authorized Driver during the usage period unless it is related to the fatal accident
An amount of RM50 surcharge for the ‘Damage Repair Duration’ will be charged upon the Authorized Driver per day, accordance the total number of day(s) the subject vehicle remain in the workshop. The Authorized Driver shall send the subject vehicle to the owner’s panel workshop unless agreed upon by the owner, in order to be sent to Authorized Driver’s preferred workshop.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is Rm10 Per day and the accident excess is base on the car class. For example, viva rental with CDW the accident excess is Rm800 only and without CDW is Rm1500.
OTHER
The Authorized Driver shall not use the vehicle for the purpose of any illegal or criminal activities in accordance to the law of Malaysia.
The Authorized Driver shall not take or transport the subject vehicle out of Malaysia due to any circumstances caused by the Authorized Driver and/or any related 3rd party.
The vehicle is strictly for personal use only and not to be driven by any unauthorized person or any unrelated 3rd party.
Top Marque Car Rental shall not be under any liability for any property stolen from the vehicle or left in the vehicle during the usage or after its return to Top Marque Car Rental either for maintenance or upon expiration of the vehicle usage period.
Any foreign items including durian, vomit, beverage and food spills, etc., which amid foul aroma will not be allowed in the Top Marque Car Rental Vehicle. The Authorized driver will be responsible for cleaning in order to eliminate the aroma and will be charges a total amount of RM100 and above,
The Authorized Driver shall read and understand all the Terms & Conditions of Usage before using Top Marque Car Rental Agreement form.
